In part manufacturing from engineering plastics we machine materials such as POM (acetal), PA (polyamide), PE and PTFE to custom sizes by turning and milling. Machining is done from standard semi-finished stock (rod, plate, tube); material selection is assessed together according to the part's operating temperature, friction, wear, chemical contact and electrical-insulation requirements.
Plain-bearing bushings, guide and slide elements, wear plates, rollers, gear and chain guides, and sealing and insulating parts are groups we produce regularly. When machining plastics, work-holding, heat control and the material-removal strategy are planned separately to keep dimensions stable.
We handle requests to convert metal equivalents to engineering plastic for noise reduction, dry running or corrosion reasons, from a technical drawing or sample. Where this is not suitable, we suggest an alternative material or method.
We adapt to single-part, low-volume and repeat production needs, assessing every request against material suitability, tolerance, quantity and lead time.
