Industrial Piston Manufacturing

In industrial piston manufacturing we produce pistons used in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, presses, die systems and special machines, from technical drawings or samples. Instead of a catalogue product, parts are made to application-specific dimensions; production is planned around working pressure, seal-element grooves, fit tolerances and surface-quality requirements.

The piston body, rod connection, seal and o-ring grooves, wear-band seats and connection threads are handled in a single production flow. Required dimensional checks are carried out after machining, and the target surface quality is achieved on sealing and guiding surfaces. Depending on the technical requirement, machining tolerances down to ±0.01 mm are possible.

We also re-manufacture worn or hard-to-source pistons by dimensioning from an existing part or sample. Wear allowances and original functional dimensions are assessed together during measurement, helping keep older equipment and production-line cylinders operational.

We carry out single-part and low-volume production in steel, stainless steel, bronze and, where suitable, aluminium, within maintenance, overhaul and machine spare-part scope. Every request is assessed against material, tolerance, operating conditions and lead-time criteria.
