In steel plants, equipment operates under demanding conditions such as high loads, temperature and dust, and wear and deformation of parts is common. Emek Freze produces and re-manufactures the mechanical parts used in rolling mills, handling, lifting and auxiliary equipment, based on a technical drawing, a sample or an existing part.

Groups we produce regularly include power- and motion-transmission shafts, bearing bushings and sleeves, supports, cam and gear carriers, welded frames and machine-scale steel structures. We combine machining and welded fabrication within the same project and, where needed, apply machining after build-up welding.

Machining worn seating diameters back to size, re-manufacturing broken parts and fast part supply during production-line downtime are work we frequently carry out. Depending on the technical requirement, machining tolerances down to ±0.01 mm are possible.

Values such as material grade and load capacity are not invented; material is determined together according to the part's operating conditions and technical drawing.
